Organising an all-day training session can be daunting, which is why we don’t recommend doing it alone.

 

Our All Day Training Session Planner is available to assist you with all your catering needs, and to pay particular attention to the finer details.  She is a highly experienced events manager, whose knowledge of all-things-corporate-catering is unrivalled.

With over 20 years’ experience catering for major corporate events across Melbourne, our planner understands the ins-and-outs of an all-day training session and will ensure you have everything you need for the day to run smoothly.

 

Your All Day Training Session Planner will:

 

  • Organise and coordinate event timeline to ensure that the food service runs smoothly and effectively
  • Liaise with you throughout the entire catering process – from the moment you express your interest in working with Impressive Platters, to the clean-up at the completion of your training session
  • Assist you in creating a catering experience tailored to your unique vision, which will be remembered long after its over
  • Assist you in planning a menu to reflect the vision and purpose of the session, ensuring there is a wide variety of foods and beverages to please everyone in the room
  • Work closely with you to ensure all special dietary requirements are met
  • Ensure your session is furnished with all the necessary catering equipment such as ample tea and coffee stations, tables, chairs, linens, silverware, special presentation platters, buffet warmers, etc. 
  • Work within your specified budget to ensure our high standard of food quality and service are always met
  • Work with our trusted business partners to ensure you have only the most professional and highly qualified personnel, such as our wait and bar staff 

 

All Day Sessions include:

 

  1. A personalised all day menu, where needed, to suit your budget, style, and location.
  2. Premium All Day Training Sets, offering a wide selection of sumptuous finger foods and hearty dishes.
  3. Carefully curated house-made recipes using fresh, quality, and seasonal ingredients.
  4. Food options to suit most dietary requirements, such as Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian, Vegan, Low Fructose, FODMAP & Keto (no-one goes hungry at Impressive Platters!).
  5. Convenient and simple to select varieties, so you can sit back, and enjoy!
  6. Up to five separate deliveries, including Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch & Afternoon Tea, per day if you are located in the CBD and place an order worth a minimum of $40 (easily done). This avoids the need to find storage space in the office.
  7. On-time delivery fast and fresh!
  8. High-quality and stylish equipment for hire including coffee machines, stylish cutlery, crockery, silverware, glassware and more…
  9. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage delivery, as well as glass hire & ice.

 

 

Things to consider:

 

  • Size of training session – how many people are you catering for? Whether 10, or 1,000, we’ve got you covered! Remember to always overestimate your head count to allow for last minute attendees.
  • Budget – you may decide to create a ‘per-attendee budget to streamline the process. We can create a menu to suit a budget of anywhere from $10 to $100 per attendee.
  • Purpose/theme – all training events are different, and the type of food on offer should reflect and support the overall purpose of the event. For example, is the training event a more intimate affair, where a sit-down boardroom lunch is needed? Or is it a large training session for hundreds of professionals who are happy to stand and eat and mingle as they go? Choose an objective and stick to it. And don’t forget to tell us so we can make the most appropriate suggestions!
  • Time and duration of the training – will catering be required for all sessions every day? I.e. breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and evening? How long would you like each food break to last? Be sure to let us know - this will affect the amount and type of food you will want to provide.
  • What equipment do you have available? Do you need to hire anything, such as tables, coffee machines, crockery, silverware, etc.?
  • Does any element of your event require wait/and or bar staff? Will it suffer without this service?
